Gunther Oless of Tyr
A young and naive Human Cleric
I’ve spent so long in the temple that I have little practical experience dealing with people in the outside world. (Many things in the outside world I have only been exposed to through books, or explanations by my teachers in the Temple of St.Augustine).
Faith. I trust that my diety will guide my actions. I have faith that if I work hard, things will go well.
I owe my life and my faith to Father Richard and will do anything to find him (perhaps even breaking my faith for my adopted father).
I constantly talk about Tyr and the light he brings to the world and try to convince others to pray to him. (This is often because I don’t know what else to talk about and have not been exposed to many things outside the temple). In addition to this, due to Gunther’s limited experiences and constant temple training, he has a tendency to confront evil directly with little thought to subtlety.
I was placed on the door step of the Temple of St. Augustine as a baby. I was given to the care of Father Richards who raised me to be the man I am today. Father Richards left on a pilgrimage to the Temple of St. Vincent six months ago. Word reached Gunther that Father Richards never arrived. Gunther received permission from Bishop Caulder to seek out the truth of what happened to Father Richards, with the un-necessary instruction to uphold the tenets of the faith and help any who need protection and bring justice to those of malignant intent during his travels.
I have little actual experience with the outside world and in addition to finding my “Father”, I secretly hope to have a chance to experience something outside my temple and the small village it resides in.
